GO CANADA RBC CANADIAN OPEN GOLF SWEEPSTAKES OFFICIAL RULES
1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY
No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter or win this Sweepstakes. A purchase will not increase an entrant’s chances of winning.
2. SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD
The GO CANADA SUMMER GOLF GIVEAWAY (the “Sweepstakes”) begins on Friday, June 5, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EDT) and ends at Monday, June 8, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. EDT (the “Sweepstakes Period”). Entries submitted outside the Sweepstakes Period will not be eligible.
3. ADMINISTRATOR
The Administrator of the Sweepstakes is Stay & Wander Media Inc., acting through its Go Canada division, located at Go Canada - Stay & Wander Media Inc. 5307 Victoria Drive #1382 Vancouver, BC V5P 3V6, Canada (the “Administrator”).
By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and by the decisions of the Administrator, which are final and binding in all respects.
4. Sponsors
This Sweepstakes is sponsored by Golf Canada and Levelwear, in partnership with the Administrator (collectively, the “Sponsors”). The prizes are provided by the Administrator and/or the Sponsors. Any questions, comments, or complaints regarding the Sweepstakes must be directed to the Administrator.
5. PLATFORM DISCLAIMER
This Sweepstakes is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram, Facebook, or Meta Platforms, Inc. By entering, entrants release Instagram, Facebook, and Meta Platforms, Inc. from any responsibility or liability related to the Sweepstakes. Any questions, comments, or complaints regarding the Sweepstakes must be directed to the Administrator and not to Instagram, Facebook, or Meta Platforms, Inc.
6. ELIGIBILITY
The Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of Canada, excluding residents of the Province of Quebec, and legal residents of the United States of America, who have reached the age of majority in their province, territory, or state of residence at the time of entry.
In Canada, the age of majority is eighteen (18) years of age in Alberta, Manitoba, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, and Saskatchewan, and nineteen (19) years of age in British Columbia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, the Northwest Territories, Nunavut, and Yukon.
In the United States, the age of majority is eighteen (18) years of age in most states and the District of Columbia, nineteen (19) years of age in Alabama and Nebraska, and twenty-one (21) years of age in Mississippi.
Executives, officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents of the Administrator, and of any entities involved in the administration, promotion, or fulfillment of the Sweepstakes, as well as their immediate family members and household members, whether related or not, are not eligible to enter.
The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, state, municipal, and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited by law.
7. HOW TO ENTER
To enter the Sweepstakes, eligible participants must complete all of the following steps during the Sweepstakes Period:
- Subscribe to the Go Canada newsletter via GoCanada.com using a valid email address. Newsletter subscription is free. Entrants may unsubscribe at any time without affecting eligibility for the Sweepstakes.
- Be a registered Instagram account holder.
- Locate the official Sweepstakes post on the @CANADA Instagram account and tag at least one (1) other registered Instagram account in the comments.
Multiple entries are permitted by separately tagging additional registered Instagram accounts. Automated entries or entries submitted through third-party services may result in disqualification.
The Administrator reserves the right to verify newsletter subscription and Instagram activity as a condition of eligibility.
8. ENTRY CONDITIONS AND VERIFICATION
Entries must be personally made by the entrant using their own Instagram account and email address. The use of bots, scripts, automation, or any other fraudulent or deceptive means is prohibited.
The Administrator reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any entry that does not comply with these Official Rules or that appears to be fraudulent, abusive, or inconsistent with the intent of the Sweepstakes.
In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of an entrant, the entry will be deemed submitted by the authorized account holder of the Instagram account used to enter.
9. PRIVACY
By entering, entrants consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of their personal information solely for the purposes of administering the Sweepstakes and, where applicable, for newsletter communications, in accordance with the Administrator’s Privacy Policy, available at: https://gocanada.com/en/privacy
Personal information will not be sold or shared except as required to administer the Sweepstakes or as otherwise disclosed in the Privacy Policy.
10. RIGHTS GRANTED BY ENTRANTS
Except where prohibited by law, by entering the Sweepstakes, entrants grant the Administrator and its successors and assigns the right to use the entrant’s name, Instagram username, city and province or state of residence, and statements relating to the Sweepstakes for the purpose of administering, promoting, and publicizing this Sweepstakes and future contests or giveaways conducted by the Administrator, in any media now known or later developed, worldwide, in perpetuity, without further compensation, notice, or consent.
11. PRIZE
One (1) winner will receive the following prize package (the “Prize”):
•Two (2) General Admission (Grounds) tickets to the 2026 RBC Canadian Open, taking place June 10–14, 2026 at TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley (North Course), Caledon, Ontario. Approximate retail value: $232 CAD (based on approximately $116 CAD per ticket at the 2025 single-day grounds rate; 2026 pricing is subject to change). The specific day(s) of attendance are subject to availability and are at the discretion of the Administrator.
•One (1) Levelwear Prize Pack, valued at up to $350 CAD.
Total approximate retail value of the Prize package: up to $582 CAD. All values are in Canadian Dollars (CAD).
The Prize is provided by the Administrator and/or the Sponsors. The Prize is not redeemable for cash, is non-transferable, and must be accepted as awarded. No substitutions are permitted except at the sole discretion of the Administrator. The Administrator reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if any prize component becomes unavailable for any reason.
The RBC Canadian Open tickets are subject to the terms and conditions of Golf Canada and the event venue. The Administrator is not responsible for any event cancellation, postponement, or other circumstances beyond its control that may affect the availability or use of the tickets. In the event the tournament is cancelled or postponed, no replacement prize will be provided unless the Administrator determines otherwise in its sole discretion.
Once the Prize has been delivered, no returns, substitutions, or exchanges will be permitted.
12. WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION
One (1) potential winner will be selected by random draw from among all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period.
The potential winner will be notified by Instagram Direct Message or email within a reasonable period following the end of the Sweepstakes Period. The potential winner must respond within 24 hours of notification.
Canadian residents must correctly answer, without assistance, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question to be declared a winner.
The Administrator may require the potential winner to complete and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability and Publicity Release within the specified timeframe. Failure to comply may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.
13. TAXES
All federal, provincial, state, and local taxes associated with the receipt or use of the Prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. If required by law, tax reporting documentation may be issued.
14. GENERAL CONDITIONS AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Entrants release and hold harmless the Administrator and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from participation in the Sweepstakes or acceptance or use of the Prize.
The Administrator reserves the right to cancel, suspend, modify, or terminate the Sweepstakes if events beyond its reasonable control compromise the integrity or proper administration of the Sweepstakes.
15. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
The Sweepstakes is governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia. By entering, entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of British Columbia and waive any objection to such jurisdiction.
16. ACCEPTANCE OF RULES
By participating, entrants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Official Rules.
